This is it.

I’m leaving tumblr.

As you can see, I reverted back to my old url and everything, but this post is the last tumblr post I’ll ever make.

at first, Tumblr was an escape for me. I could vent my feelings and get support. It was fabulous. But then things went crazy and I found myself using it as more of a crutch to get away from the real world instead of facing my problems.

Ten years from now, I want to look back on my life and see how much stuff I did. It may have been a bunch of mistakes, but I’d rather live a life of “oh wells” instead of “what ifs.” I want to live the life that I always reblogged pictures about and dreamed of. But I’m not going to get there by sitting behind a computer screen all day. 

That’s really the only reason I’m leaving. It’s not because of the hate-that was an extremely small factor in this decision. It’s not because of any of you, and it’s not because of the Hootowls as a fandom. It’s no one’s fault. I’m just moving on.

Please don’t try to convince me otherwise. I’ve already made up my mind and I’ll still be on twitter if you’re feeling any Allie deprivation. Rina, I’m sorry if this sounds terribly bitchy, but please don’t call me again.
